As we know diets are very important to our overall health. As the old saying goes – “We are what we eat”. It should come as no surprise that good nutrition during pregnancy is increasingly important, not only for the mother but also the child.
A study according the University of Massachusetts Medical School says that American women with a history of gestational diabetes have lower quality diets compared to mothers who do not have a history of the disease.
The author of the study went on to note that women with a history Gestational Diabetes reported a lower consumption of green and beans.
